User Liability

As the User, you accept sole liability for any content you post to the platform. You agree to indemnify DeafQA and its team members against and costs, claims, damages, liability, legal fees, loss and other expenses we may incur resulting from your post(s) or other communications using the DeafQA website. We expressly exclude any liability for damages or loss resulting from a breach of the Platform Rules. We retain the right to remove or block access to any material which we believe is in breach of the Platform Rules, at our sole discretion.

DeafQA is a place that empowers Deaf people to share and grow the world’s knowledge. We believe if people don’t feel safe they can’t contribute to knowledge or listen to another person’s point of view.

Be Respectful

Everyone on DeafQA is here to make the platform a great resource with diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and opinions. It is OK to disagree, but please be civil, respectful, and considerate to other posters.

No Hate Speech

DeafQA does not tolerate content that attacks or disparages an individual or group based on race, gender, religion, nationality, ethnicity, political group, sexual orientation or another similar characteristic. Any generalizations about these topics should be phrased as neutrally as possible.

No Harassment and Bullying

Abusive behavior directed towards private individuals is not allowed. Repeated and unwanted contact constitutes a form of harassment. Content should not make threats against others or advocate violence, including self-harm.

Intellectual Property and Personal Rights

Do not post content that infringes any intellectual property or personal right of another party. Writing taken from another source should be properly attributed and block quoted or credited.

Respect the DeafQA Platform

Do not use DeafQA to post or attract spam.

Do not contribute viruses, malware, and other malicious programs or engage in activity that harms or interferes with the operation of DeafQA or seeks to circumvent security or authentication measures. Do not use DeafQA to engage in unlawful activity or to promote illegal acts.

Abide by Other DeafQA Policies and Terms

Follow DeafQA other policies, which DeafQA may add or change from time to time.

Updates to this User Liability

We reserve the right, at any time, to modify the Site and/or the terms of User Liability without prior notice. We recommend that you check these User Liability periodically to see if there have been any modifications. Modifications will become effective immediately upon being posted on this page.

Your continued use of the Site after modifications are posted will be considered an acceptance of the modified Disclaimer. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the DeafQA Platform.

Reporting Problems

If you see something on DeafQA that you believe violates our guidelines or policies, please report it to email – info@deafqa.com.

Violating the User Liability may result in the removal of content, or in the limitation or termination of a user’s access to DeafQA.
